My wife and I have the privilege of meeting the lovely Esther Hicks while out at our favourite restaurant in Rome. Whenever we travel we check where Esther will be holding workshops first so we can attend them while on vacation. We were thrilled to be able to attend the Italy & Adriatic Coast Cruise Oct 07 - 17/22. This photo Was taken on Oct 6, the day before the cruise. Esther was wonderful, kind, and giving. Esther greeted me like I was an old friend. She made me feel quite at ease. A sense of wonderfullness filled me from head to toe. Thank you Esther, for everything you do to lift humanity to a higher place. Until next time:)

This is a great shot of my beautiful wife, Joanna and myself while on a much-needed vacation in the Azores. The Azores, if you don’t already know, is a Portuguese Island chain 1000 miles (1600KMS) West off the coast of Portugal.
It has been open to tourism for about 10 years now after a much-needed infrastructure upgrade. The roads were once all gravel but are now smoothly paved highways. The local people are very proud of their country and work hard to maintain it’s natural beauty.
The view you see behind us is typical of all 9 islands. You can visit active volcanoes, go whale watching, and for the younger more adventurous crowd, you can participate in “adventure tours” We stuck with the more relaxing tours of the many wonderful locations like the one seen here.
The prices easily beat those found on the European mainland, yet the quality of the food, drink, and accommodations is just as good as what we experienced in Italy and Greece!

Wouldn't it be nice...

This picture exudes a feeling of peace and serenity. In today's stressful world, experiencing feelings of serenity is a rare thing.

Most of us are stressed about one thing or another.
Some turn to alcohol, drugs, or food for relief, but with that there is a high price to pay

This is what works for me, it's free and eternally accessible!

I take a bit of time (5 - 15 minutes) I begin by focusing on my breath until other thoughts are in the background or out of my mind completely

I say to myself, "Wouldn't it be nice if I could be someone not affected by stress" several times until it's firmly planted in my mind

Then I picture myself doing what I love to do. Something that is effortless to imagine because it comes to me easily and makes me happy.

In my case, riding my motorcycle works, sometimes other passions come to mind.

When I "magineer" these moments, incorporating all five senses, my entire being becomes immersed in the joy of the moment and all my anxiety disappears.

When in this state, my body heals because it's in a state of being "at ease''

Alternatively, when your stressed and anxious, you're in a state of "dis-ease" and your body is not healing, it's breaking down

I'd love to hear what works for you. If you find it difficult to focus, let me know and I'll post methods that make it easier to hold your focus for longer periods of time
