Happy New Year ! Shop owner Jess here! I can’t believe it’s 2023 already. I want to say it was a long year for me personally, but it also flew by? 🤔 Does anyone else feel like that? I wanted to pop in here really quick to wish everyone an amazing new year. In korean, we say 새해복 많이 받으세요! Which translates to: Wishing you lots of luck on the New Year!

As a new year starts, I can’t help but reflect on the previous year. Last year around this time, I made goals for the new year, but I’m not gonna lie; I never made it. Lots of unexpected things happened that made me totally forget my path, & to be quite honest, I felt lost. But ya know, that’s life, & I’m a firm believer in “better late than never”. So, I’ll be making the same goals as last year & get back up to try again. Some of the goals were:
1. To move with intention in whatever I do 🏃🏻‍♀️
2. Do more things that will make future Jess happy 😊
3. Spend more time outdoors — which I feel I did, but who doesn’t want more time outdoors? 🌱

I want to end this post with a huge thank you. If you supported Litto Howler this year; whether it was through purchasing from one of our drops or just sharing our business with your friends, here’s a virtual hug 🫂. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We had an epic year, & ya’ll just wait for what’s in store this year. We’ve already got so much planned & I can’t wait to share with you guys when the time comes. I feel so blessed to have the best supporters to call family. Y’all rock & really, thank you guys for being a part of this journey. As I had stated above, this year was rocky. I had some unexpected health issues, every month felt like a battle, & I feel pretty wounded I’m not gonna lie. But I manifest that 2023 will be a year of healing, because no rain, no flowers baby. So if you had a rough past year, I hope you bloom in 2023. If you’ve got some new year’s resolutions, please share! Adventure Rep Intro:

The next Adventure Rep we’re introducing is Kat & Kimber from San Diego, CA! Kimber is a Lab/Pointer Mutt that’s actually a foster fail. She was originally rescued out of Tijuana, Mexico & Kat was fostering her until she miserably failed. I give Kat props because before Kimber, she had fostered 4 other dogs! It was definitely meant to be because Kat fell in love with Kimber’s chill & quirky personality. This duo is now inseparable & do everything together!

Kat was born & raised in Bangkok, Thailand, but also lived throughout China & Kuwait while growing up. Kat works as a Project Manager at a large biotech company & loves her job because of the impact her company has been making — especially with COVID. Kat uses her Biology degree to read into scientific articles about dog supplement ingredients & nutrition. Since Kat grew up by the ocean, she’s always been a water baby. No wonder she now lives in San Diego, by the ocean. Of course things are different now because she’s more active with Kimber by her side, but she used to scuba dive & it was a big passion of hers.

Now that Kimber is her main adventure partner, Kat loves to train Kimber & they’re active in dog sports like AKC Rally. Kimber just received her Rally Intermediate Title and they can’t wait to get started on the Advanced Title!!! Otherwise, you can catch Kat & Kimber at their San Diego pack walks with their awesome crew. Their crew has been an inspiration to . Believe it or not, I actually had a customer walk into the shop just yesterday to tell us they started their own pack walk locally inspired by the San Diego crew!
