Making moves! Boreal Fire Protection Inc. has proposed an innovative, WildFire Sprinkler System design *Patent Pending* and solutions for the installation of a 4.5km semi-permanent sprinkler system that shall enhance the fire guard of the Jasper townsite. Existing fire guards are often cleared forest features that combine tree removal and prescribed fire to reduce WildFire risk to communities and developments. The sprinkler line shall be used during periods of elevated fire danger to apply water to live fuels and provide a frontline water source for our responders in emergency situations. This shall effectively reduce the receptivity to fire brands and facilitate fire control operations where installed. We are taking this design to market and are excited to provide a large scale, low cost, practical solution to wildfire management. Contact us or check out the website for more info!
