Durham Educational Mentoring Program

from various Community Groups with varied educational, professional and life skills experiences assist in the delivery of the DEMP program. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education, teachers possess a teacher’s certificate or its equivalent while the volunteers are proficient in the level of education for the grade in which they assist. All volunteers in the program must possess a valid criminal background clearance before working with vulnerable populations.
