Always Smiling Photography

I’ve been a little off the grid lately (as per usual, hahaha), deep in my editing cave and working through a heavier season while getting as many galleries out as possible before Christmas.

Coming back with one of my favourite days from this year.

Sam & Amber’s wedding at Cheekye Ranch in Squamish was full of love and intention in every little detail. Amber did her own hair and makeup with her girls by her side providing a helping hand, thrifted decor made the space feel so personal, family members cooked up a delicious dinner on the BBQ, and so many other person details that made the day so uniquely them. And of course we also got to spend time with the horses and mules at the ranch, share plenty of dog snuggles, and soak in a day that felt so completely, beautifully them ✨

Not your average date night 🚗✨

I’ve known Sam for years, and we recently started playing soccer together again. She actually won this session through one of our team fundraisers, and then when she and Mitch pulled up in his car to one of our games I knew right away it had to be part of the photos! From golden hour fields to headlights after dark, the whole evening felt so natural and true to them. Couldn’t have asked for a better night with these two 💖
