Black Rabbit is hiring a Griddle Master to join our growing team in Belmopan.
We’re looking for someone who can move with focus, keep a clean station, and handle a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality, consistency, and timely service.
This role will support our farm-to-table restaurant, tea & coffee bar, event venue, and expanding catering division.
Core responsibilities include:
Preparing and cooking menu items including breakfast dishes, sandwiches, burgers, meats, and daily specials according to Black Rabbit recipes and quality standards.
Operating the griddle, fryer, flat-top, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Following in-house recipes, preparation methods, and kitchen procedures.
Managing multiple orders at once while maintaining accuracy and timely service.
Monitoring food quality, presentation, and proper holding temperatures before service.
Following food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation throughout each shift.
Cleaning the grill station and work area at the end of each shift.
Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, restocking, and minimizing food waste.
Supporting overall kitchen operations and working well with the team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a grill cook, griddle cook, short-order cook, breakfast cook, line cook, or similar kitchen role is preferred.
Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn and grow with the organization.
