Are you an International Business Company (IBC) based in Belize? Are you aware that the government has put in place new legislation?

The new Laws:

• Tax (was not applicable for Belize IBCs in the past)
• Economic Substance (income IBCs are required to bring into Belize- previously not required)

IBCs have to comply with the new rules but in order to do so they have to meet certain requirements and be categorized.

There is a deadline for certain categories of March 2021.
