πŸ’œ Day 26 of Vitiligo Awareness Month πŸ’œ

I want to say thank you to everyone who has liked, commented, shared a post, started a conversation, asked a question, attended an event, worn purple, or supported this movement in any way, kea lebogaπŸ’œ

When I started raising awareness about vitiligo, my hope was to help people understand the condition and create a community where those living with it feel seen, heard and accepted. Seeing so many of you share these posts and help spread the message has been truly encouraging.

Awareness grows because people like you choose to care and your support has helped this message reach far beyond my own voice.

Whether you have been here from the beginning or joined along the way, please know that your support matters and is deeply appreciated.

Together, we are creating understanding, challenging misconceptions and reminding people living with vitiligo that they are not alone.

Thank you for being part of this journey. πŸ’œ

πŸ’œ Day 22 of Vitiligo Awareness Month πŸ’œ

This one is for the community πŸ’œ

Vitiligo does not define a person.

When you meet someone living with vitiligo, remember that their skin is only one part of who they are.

They are someone's parent, child, friend, colleague, student, teacher, dreamer and achiever. They have talents, goals, strengths and stories that go far beyond their appearance.

Vitiligo changes skin colour but it does not change a person's worth, intelligence, kindness, or ability to succeed.

Today, let's choose to see people for who they are, not just what they look like.

Br urious, not judgmental.
Be kind, not critical.
See the person before the condition.
