, with the goal of conserving carnivores in Botswana. In the meantime we are reaching out to all the stakeholders with an interest in protecting the carnivores of Botswana. Introducing the team: Christiaan and Hanlie Winterbach have worked together for more than twenty years and have amassed a vast amount of information on the lion populations of Botswana, along with an impressive array of friends and contacts across the region. Gail Potgieter and Rob Thomson joined the team after working in Namibia, and bring with them a detailed understanding of the issues of human-carnivore conflict, and a wealth of technical knowledge vital to good conservation practice in the 21st century. Together we are determined to ensure that large carnivore species can continue to thrive in their natural environments.
