Remember that "controversial" team from 2012 that people didn’t want to accept?
Well… we’re still here. Still kicking. Still winning. 😎

They said we wouldn’t last.
They said we were too much.
They were right, we’re too much to handle. 💥⚽

Now, for the first time ever, Sbamu FC is coming to the President’s Holiday Tournament and we’re doing it in style on 19 JULY 2025 at Mosojane Village. 🟢🟡
😏 Oh, and about our players...
Let’s just say, you’ve never seen these faces before. New talent. Serious skills. No recycled names here as we’re not a remix team. 🎶

So if you’re a real fan (or just bored of staying at home), come through. Support the only club bold enough to shake the tournament table. We promise goals, flair, and a little drama. 😉

✨ From Rejection to Legend ⚽

In life, happiness often comes from the most unexpected places. For one of our own, his path to Sbamu was nothing short of extraordinary! 🙌

Once upon a time, switching to Sbamu from the two traditional teams in Masunga was considered treason 😱. Hatred ran deep. Rival teams even went as far as refusing to accept our tournament applications. It was a betrayal, they said. But one brave player saw something different—he chose to join us.

It all started quietly. He agreed to help us during the Gambule tournament as a guest player when he had some free time. But somehow, word got out about his unexpected decision, and the shockwaves were felt by Themana fans. 😳

One fateful evening, after being dropped off at the Masunga Sports Complex gate, he was shown the door less than 10 minutes later for the "unthinkable" act of playing for Sbamu. No hesitation, we swooped in to bring him home. And from that day forward, he became one of us. 💙

Masole Chuku known as “Chuku yo o didimetseng” (to distinguish him from another "Chuku"), he quickly earned a spot as our first-choice left-back. His attacking style and natural understanding of the game have always been invaluable. Teammates say it best: "Chuku doesn’t need anyone to tell him where to be or what to do—he just knows." His ability to make crucial goal-line clearances and s***f out danger has made him a cornerstone of our defense. 💪

Today, Chuku is playing competitive football for Real Movers, but his legacy with Sbamu is forever etched in our hearts. We’re thankful to Themana for rejecting him—because, in the end, he became one of ours. 🙏
