GABZ RISING STARS FINISHED RUNNERS UP IN THE 2025 UNDER 21 KAPP CUP CHALLENGE

The tournament, in its second edition drew some of the best teams in the South of the country. A competitive, high intensity, physically, mentally, technically and tactically demanding tournament that also needed good management of recovery between games.

Though we finished runners up with all teams equal on group points, goal difference, goals scored, head to head...it had to then be decided on Fair play record.

Our Future Stars showed good maturity and excellent tactical application, considering that we played against experienced teams with different game models-mostly direct. With the scorching heat in effect our aim was to dominate the critical phases and keep the opposition on a back foot.

We are Thankful to the organisers and sponsors of the Kapp Under 21 Cup Challenge, it offered our players good exposure and experience.
