The National Amalgated Local,Central Govenment & Parastatal Workers Union has announced the conclusion of salary increment negotiations with the Water Utilities Corporation (WUC). According to union representative Robert Rabasimane, employees in the lower salary band will receive a 4.5% increase, while those in the higher bands will see a 3.5% bump. Additionally, Rabasimane urged the government, private sector companies, and individuals to settle their outstanding water utility debts. He noted that clearing these debts would put the union in a stronger position to negotiate further increments in the future.
