Reviews are meant to help people rate their experiences—movies, games, food, what is underrated, what is exceptional. But the act of reviewing itself feels a bit overrated lately.

With the internet and social media, everything is accessible now—maybe too accessible. It’s so diluted that you could probably find out how many stars random man #3216 from Fiji gave Стенька-Разин (1908) right now. That kind of proves the point.

Some of bottom 7 “worst” games of 2026—will end up as some kid's childhood memories. I’d rather spend 80 hours on a 3‑star game I enjoy than force myself through a 4.8‑star title for three hours just because it’s “highly rated.”

Go experience things for yourself. Don’t let reviews decide how much fun you’re going to have. It’s your experience.
