15 years! Happy Birthday Junction Bookstore 📚🎉
You might not always see us at the bookshop, but know that our hearts are very much here, pouring love and care into this little corner made just for readers.
By nature, I’m a bit of an introvert and don’t often share all the behind-the-scenes wonder. But if we meet, there are years of stories tucked away, waiting to be told. The bookshop is never far from my thoughts, it’s a quiet, constant presence in my every day.
And really, where better to escape than into the pages of a book, in a bookshop? Come by, spend an afternoon whether with a book or enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Few authors capture the depth of human emotion with such economy of language as Claire Keegan. Her books may be slim in size, but they carry the weight of entire worlds—quiet, powerful, unforgettable.
We’re especially moved by Foster and Small Things Like These—two stories that are as gentle as they are devastating.
🌾 Foster (399)
Set in rural Ireland, this novella follows a young girl sent to live with distant relatives one summer. In the quiet of this new home, she discovers care, tenderness, and unsettling truths. It’s a masterclass in restraint and emotional depth. We loved it—and can’t wait for the film adaptation, which promises to bring its subtle beauty to life on screen.
🕯️ Small Things Like These (450)
A haunting Christmas tale about a coal merchant who uncovers the hidden cruelty of a local convent. Set in 1980s Ireland, it’s a reflection on courage, complicity, and the quiet ways people can resist injustice. Shortlisted for the Booker Prize—and deservedly so.
While those two are our personal favorites, we also stock her other stunning works:
❄️ Antarctica (₹599)
🕰️ So Late in the Day (₹550)
🌊 Walk the Blue Fields (₹599)
Each story is a window into the lives of ordinary people, rendered extraordinary through Keegan’s lyrical, piercing prose.
