Caio is a Ph.D. student, instructor, and research assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, from where he also holds an MA in Hispanic Linguistics, an Ed.M. in Bilingual Education, and a specialization in TESL. Caio has taught in Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, and the USA, and has collaborated with Brazilian schools to implement bilingual programs. He completed a Fulbright year at Washington and Lee University and is now a visiting faculty at FATEC at Praia Grande, São Paulo.
