INTO Bermuda

I had a great opportunity to be "behind the scenes" taking photos as the Marcus Bermuda team prepared for their opening night. Little did I know that I was in for more than a few good shots. Adrenaline was running high as the team pulled together to finish off preparations for the crowds of people anxiously awaiting. Marcus took a centre position in the restaurant and called all staff to gather around as he gave a speech. He thanked the staff for all of their hard work and then began one of the most passionate and inspiring speeches that I have had the privilege of hearing live. Not a sound but the faint crackle of the wood burning stove as he assured the staff that the restaurant doesn't aim to be the best restaurant in Bermuda but one of the best in the World. He also highlighted some of the opportunities for growth within the company and international brand.

Not just an awesome person it seems, but an inspiring leader!
