As Ariel Re celebrates 20 years, we’re helping bring this year's Run for the Arts mural project to life in partnership with the Bermuda National Gallery as part of our initiative.

The mural, which will be installed at the Flora Duffy Stadium, will become the fifth public artwork created through the Run for the Arts program and will showcase the talent and creativity of Bermuda’s local artists.

We’re delighted to be part of a project that celebrates community, enhances public spaces, and creates a lasting legacy for residents and visitors to enjoy for years to come.

The Bermuda National Gallery is currently inviting artists to submit proposals for the sports-themed mural, with submissions open until 15 June: https://bng.bm/run-for-the-arts/murals-submissions/

Congratulations to our team members who took part in this year’s Bermuda Half Marathon Derby!

Vincent Darrell and Dimitri Guglielmucci completed the full race, while Meghan Sherwin, Katie Partington Howarth, James Zhong, and Brian Darling represented Ariel Re as a relay team.

Dating back to 1909, the Bermuda Half Marathon Derby has become an important part of Bermuda Day celebrations, bringing together runners, supporters, and the wider community each year.

A fantastic effort all round and a great example of the , , and that drive our culture.

Last week, we welcomed students from the The University of Mississippi - Ole Miss Risk Management program to our Bermuda office.

Team members Chelsea Trott, Assistant Vice President, Property Reinsurance and Sierra Dietz, Underwriter, Property Reinsurance delivered a presentation on underwriting, Theo Wolffe, Capital Associate presented on capital and finance, and David Hosier, Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance gave an overview on Ariel Re.

It was great to connect with the next generation of industry professionals and share insights into the Bermuda reinsurance market.

We’re delighted to share that the Ariel Re Analytics team has been named a finalist for the LMF Market People Awards in the Reinsurance Professional / Team of the Year category.

This recognition highlights the team’s impact across both Ariel Re and the wider market, combining technical excellence with practical application to deliver clear, actionable insights.

The awards will be announced on 17 June at the Guildhall, bringing together the best of the London Market to celebrate talent and contribution.
