Cultivating Good Study Habits

In Math and Physics, the key to success is practice, practice, practice. Carve out a time to dedicate to study (two hours of study for every one hour of class time).

When I was a student in university, one of my professors asked us to complete every odd question at the end of each section in the textbook for homework but he wouldn't be grading the questions. I did what he asked and brought all the questions to him at the next class period. I was the only one that completed this assignment and the only one that received an A in the class. This was a model for me and my future courses. I needed to ensure that practicing the problems was a priority for me.
