July 2023 is set to be the hottest month ever recorded, according to the latest data released by World Meteorological Organization.
The difference between 1.5°C, 2°C or 3°C average global warming can sound marginal. But, in fact, these temperature rises represent vastly different scenarios for the future.
“The evidence is everywhere: humanity has unleashed destruction. This must not inspire despair, but action,” stressed United Nations Secretary-General.
“It is still possible to avoid the very worst of climate change, but only with dramatic, immediate .”
