Meet our third and final trainer, Hatungimana Vianney acrobatique, who will be leading the acrobatics session at tomorrow’s workshop at the Busuma refugee site in Ruyigi.
Vianney is a circus artist whose passion and dedication have made him a valued resource within the Nanje Nobaho Center community. Through his acrobatic practice, he empowers children by building resilience, nurturing discipline, and inspiring joy, confidence, and a positive outlook on life.

Happy communities don’t happen by chance—they are built, day by day, by the dedication of workers whose hands shape, whose hearts care, and whose hopes inspire. Every effort they make becomes a brick of resilience. Every skill they share plants a seed of prosperity.
From the quiet persistence of daily labor to the bold vision of creating a better future, Spring Communities’ personnel are the foundation of the change we seek to create. Their contributions ripple outward—strengthening education, uplifting neighborhoods, and creating opportunities for generations to come.
At Spring Communities, we recognize that real change begins with action. So let’s not just celebrate workers—let’s support them, invest in them, and stand alongside them. Together, through purposeful action, we build stronger, more resilient communities.

Implemented by Spring Communities and funded by UNICEF Burundi, “Burundi bw’Ejo,” an Adolescent and Youth Health and Well-being Education Project uses sports—especially football—to educate students about preventing school pregnancies.
Working within public schools in 5 former provinces (Bujumbura Mairie, Kayanza, Gitega, Rumonge and Muyinga), Spring Communities is utilizing the “Safe Play” game, an innovative approach that combines gameplay with open discussions on sexual and reproductive health in a safe, stigma-free environment.
The approach encourages participation through interactive learning and rewards, helping young people gain knowledge and confidence to make responsible decisions.

By integrating socioprofessional orientation early on, Spring Communities and KIYO are helping young people build pathways that are both realistic and aspirational. They are not only preparing students to succeed academically but also to thrive in society.
The impact extends beyond individual learners. Communities benefit when young people are equipped with practical skills, confidence, and direction. Families see clearer trajectories for their children. And education systems gain a complementary model that enhances, rather than replaces, formal schooling.
