APM Terminals Bahrain

أستقبل سعادة الدكتور محمد بن مبارك بن دينه وزير النفط والبيئة المبعوث الخاص لشؤون المناخ، السيد جوناثان جولدنر الرئيس التنفيذي الإقليمي لشركة "إي بي إم تيرمينالز" في منطقة آسيا والشرق الأوسط، والمشغلة لميناء خليفة بن سلمان، والسيد ماثيو لوكهيرست الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة في مملكة البحرين.

وخلال اللقاء، أكّد سعادة الوزير أهمية تعزيز مسارات التعاون الاستراتيجي مع مختلف الشركات والمؤسسات العالمية ومنها في مجالات النفط والطاقة والخدمات اللوجستية بما يتسق مع مساعي تحقيق رؤية البحرين الاقتصادية 2030 وأهداف التنمية المستدامة، مشيدًا في الوقت ذاته بالمشاريع المختلفة التي تنفذها شركة "إي بي إم تيرمينالز" والتي تسهم في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتحقيق استدامته.

من جانبه استعرض السيد جوناثان جولدنر الرئيس التنفيذي الإقليمي لشركة "إي بي إم تيرمينالز" في منطقة آسيا والشرق الأوسط، أهم برامج وأنشطة الشركة الحالية والمستقبلية بالإضافة إلى المشاريع الاستراتيجية التطويرية في مجال الموانئ ومرافق التخزين، منوهاً بحرص مملكة البحرين على مواصلة تنفيذ مشاريع التعاون التطويرية المشتركة لدعم كافة القطاعات الحيوية.

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, meets Mr. Jonathan Goldner, Regional Chief Executive Officer of APM Terminals in Asia and the Middle East, and Mr. Matthew Luckhurst, Chief Executive Officer of APM Terminals Bahrain, the operator of Khalifa Bin Salman Port.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening strategic cooperation with various international companies and institutions, including in the fields of oil, energy, and logistics services, in line with efforts to achieve Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and sustainable development goals. He also praised the various projects implemented by APM Terminals, which contribute to supporting the national economy and achieving its sustainability.

Mr. Jonathan Goldner, Regional Chief Executive Officer of APM Terminals in Asia and the Middle East, showcased the company's most important current and future programs and activities, in addition to strategic development projects in the field of ports and storage facilities.

وقّعت وزارة المواصلات والاتصالات خطاب نوايا مع شركة إي بي إم تيرمينالز ، المشغلة لميناء خليفة بن سلمان، بهدف تعزيز البنية التحتية للميناء، وتطوير الكوادر الوطنية، وتوظيف التقنيات الحديثة لتحسين الكفاءة التشغيلية والاستدامة البيئية.

أكد سعادة الدكتور الشيخ عبد الله بن أحمد آل خليفة، وزير المواصلات والاتصالات، التزام مملكة البحرين بتعزيز التعاون مع الشركات العالمية لتطوير قطاع النقل والموانئ والملاحة البحرية. كما شدد على الجهود المبذولة لتحسين جودة البنية التحتية، وتعزيز مكانة البحرين كمركز إقليمي للخدمات اللوجستية، ودعم أهداف التنمية المستدامة وفق رؤية البحرين الاقتصادية 2030.

من جانبه، أكد جوناثان جولدنر، الرئيس التنفيذي الإقليمي لشركة إي بي إم تيرمينالز لمنطقة آسيا والشرق الأوسط، التزام الشركة بتوسيع شراكتها الاستراتيجية مع البحرين، عبر تعزيز الطاقة الاستيعابية للميناء، وتقديم خدمات لوجستية متطورة، والاستثمار في تنمية رأس المال البشري لدعم الأهداف البيئية والتنموية المستدامة.

The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications signed a letter of intent with APM Terminals, the operator of Khalifa Bin Salman Port, to enhance port infrastructure, develop national talent, and integrate advanced technologies for improved operational capacity and environmental sustainability.

Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to collaborating with global companies to advance the transport, ports, and maritime sectors. He highlighted efforts to improve infrastructure quality, positioning Bahrain as a key regional logistics hub while supporting sustainable development in line with Economic Vision 2030.

Jonathan Goldner, APM Terminals’ Regional Chief Executive for Asia and the Middle East, reiterated the company’s dedication to strengthening its strategic partnership with Bahrain by enhancing port capabilities, offering advanced logistics services, and investing in human capital to support environmental and sustainable development goals.
