Recycling: reality over ideology

Europe’s plastic recycling sector is under heavy pressure. Capacity is disappearing, factories run at half speed, and investments are delayed. Cheap virgin plastics and low-cost imports distort the market, while Europe keeps pushing complex and expensive regulation.

Plastics are made from petroleum. Controlled incineration with energy recovery is the most efficient, stable, and scientifically sound solutions. It reduces waste, replaces fossil fuels, and delivers reliable energy.

As long as Europe clings to ideological green deals and ignores proven technology, it loses both recycling capacity and energy security. Sustainability requires realism.
