To finish of this little video series:
Here is our LAST CHAPTER

So throughout the collection, I used sleepwear as a recurring reference point.

You can recognize striped pajamas and robe-like silhouettes. I also worked a lot with teddy bears but instead of leaving them as they are, I gave them my face. The face of the scared little girl I drew.

The entire collection includes glow-in-the-dark elements. As a child, glow-in-the-dark star were an important source of comfort for me. When the lights went out and the room completely changed, those small glowing shapes felt like a roadmap.

I wanted to bring that same feeling into this collection. The idea of moving between night and day, light and darkness.

Some prints glow in the dark. Certain stitchings are made with glow-in-the-dark embroidery. I tried to apply this element to every silhouette in a different way.

EXPLAINING NIGHTVIEW PART 2

While working on this collection, I started thinking about where my fear actually began.

I realized it traces back to something very simple: as a child, I was afraid of the dark.

When I began translating that memory into visuals, the idea of shadow hands appeared. They became a way to visualize that old feeling not to make it heavier, but to make it visible.

Those shadow hands slowly grew into a recurring element and eventually took a central place within the collection

A closer look at the second silhouette.

The jacket is constructed like a pile of pillows.
You just want to hide under the moment the lights go out.

The fabric is inspired by the classic boxer shorts your boyfriend has and also something you could sleep in.

The boots are made from upcycled snow boots, taken apart and rebuilt into a new shape. They feature 3D-printed stars.

When the lights go off, the embroidery on the jacket, the stitching on the pants, and the stars on the boots glow in the dark. 🖤🤍

2025 IN SLIDES
some of this year’s most memorable moments.

I finally found the time to create new work, and so NIGHTVIEW was born this year. I presented this new collection as an immersive experience at Hasselt Fashion & Design.

I made it to 20 to Watch list. I also joined the Flanders DC Mentortrack and spent the past year building my brand, creating a solid structure, and figuring out where I want to go next. Shout-out to the best mentor a girl could wish for

I got the opportunity to do a lot of costume design for so many events I can’t name them all, but I learned a lot from each of them. Shoutout to and for this great partnership

And in between it all, I got to see some beautiful places, and I’m slowly learning to take more time and more rest.
I also turned 31 this year, and honestly, I love this feeling more and more myself in this new phase of life.

Let’s keep going 🙏
