Time to reveal who I had the pleasure of welcoming as guests on this EP, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of my Innerwoud project.

I met Gowaart Van Den Bossche, also known as yadayn, around 15 years ago in Ghent. We played together in a band that balanced between post-rock and neoclassical music. Later, we pursued our own musical paths with solo projects, but we kept supporting each other. Once, we even played a sleep concert together that lasted 8 hours. Gowaart is and remains one of my dearest friends. He lent his guitar skills to add a layer to DAR II, the second track on the EP.

Belgian artist and musician Lydia Hannah Debeer has been a friend since art school. The first time I laid some layers of double bass on top of each other was at her request, as a soundtrack for a video she made in a crematorium, which was kind of appropriate. The seed for Innerwoud had been planted. You can recognise Lydia's voice on DAR II, but also on ‘Mirre’, title track of my debut album. Lydia also made a new video for DRAN.

Colin H. Van Eeckhout, who you probably know as singer of Amenra, sent me a message 10 years ago, asking if I wanted to play support for some acoustic shows. An invitation that would open many doors for my project. We also shared the stage regularly as solo artists. He was kind enough to lend a poem that adds depth to the first song, DRAN.

When I toured with Steve Von Till two years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Dave French. Besides the great conversations we had, I was impressed by man's enormous versatility: percussionist, engineer and various instruments. Quite an honour that Dave wanted to play a drum part for DAR II from his studio in California, US.
