These Things Take Time is een non-profit, interdisciplinair kunstenplatform en tentoonstellingsruimte gevestigd in het centrum van Gent, opgericht in 2012 door Matthias Yzebaert in samenwerking met Godart Bakkers, Laura Herman en Charlotte Van Buylaere. These Things Take Time organiseert haar activiteiten rond het werk van zowel opkomende als gevestigde kunstenaars en door samenwerkingen aan te gaan met private en publieke organisaties, waarbij steeds gedeelde vraagstukken en thema’s verkend worden. Door te opereren in een multidisciplinair cultureel veld wil These Things Take Time een breed publiek aanspreken, zonder daarbij ruimte voor experiment en artistieke daadkracht uit het oog te verliezen. These Things Take Time benadrukt niet alleen de mogelijkheden van de fysieke tentoonstellingsruimte, maar stelt ook de beleving en het performatieve aspect van de expositie centraal. Sinds 2012 organiseerde These Things Take Time een vijftiental exposities met meer dan honderd kunstenaars.
