Voor dit bijzondere event, georganiseerd door Delhaize, mochten wij animaties en beelden maken die de grootsheid van de Sint-Annakerk in de kijker zetten.
We wilden het publiek helpen om de indrukwekkende schaal en de architecturale complexiteit van het gebouw beter te begrijpen – dingen die je soms niet meteen ziet, maar die wél het verschil maken.
Met deze visuals probeerden we het verhaal van de kerk tot leven te brengen en te tonen hoe uniek deze transformatie echt is.
Wat vind jij van de resultaten?

Last week, the marvellous Sint-Annakerk in the heart of Ghent opened its doors to reveal an extraordinary transformation journey. Over the next two years, this stunning piece of heritage—known for its incredible mural paintings and breathtaking architecture—will be given a new life. Thanks to @delhaizebelgium , it will become a high-end supermarket like no other. A unique concept that blends history with modern purpose. We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in this ambitious project. A few years ago, we had the honour of scanning this church, preserving its beauty in digital form. And now, we’re thrilled to have been asked to create animations for this unveiling event. It was amazing to see how visitors reacted—captivated by the visuals, filming the animations with their phones. A true moment of pride for our team. Our goal? To help visitors experience the impressive scale and architectural complexity of the building—details that are sometimes hard to fully grasp at first glance. Through these visuals, we wanted to bring the story of the church to life and show just how unique this transformation really is. Wie bereits angekündigt, wird der ehemalige Darkride "Burg Falkenstein" im Holiday Park zurzeit umthematisiert zu einer neuen Schlümpfe-Themenfahrt. Gegen Ende der Saison 2022 wurde eine große Online-Auktion gestartet, bei der sämtliche Figuren und dekorative Elemente, die einst die Attraktion schmückten, verkauft wurden. Mittlerweile ist davon nichts mehr in der Burg wiederzufinden. Doch nicht nur die Figuren wurden entfernt, sondern ebenso alle Böden, Wände und Stockwerke. 🏗🚧

Die Firma RealVisuals hat kürzlich in einem neuen Beitrag erstmals aktuelle Aufnahmen aus dem Innenbereich der ehemaligen Burg veröffentlicht, bei der Vermessungsarbeiten stattfanden. Diese Bilder bieten erstmals Einblicke in die tiefgreifenden Umbauarbeiten und verdeutlichen, dass abgesehen von dem Fahrgeschäft mit Schienenverlauf nichts mehr erhalten geblieben ist. 📐📌
