At the heart of this project is the Metalfire Avenue 900-60, a high-efficiency, closed gas fireplace with a three-sided view. The fireplace is finished with a distinctive cast iron interior in ribbed Maple Gold, adding warmth and depth to the flame picture and giving the installation a strong architectural presence.
The interior architecture was designed by Laura Calleeuw, with the installation carried out by Bouwmaterialen Vinckier. Together, they created a balanced integration of fire, space, and material.
The Avenue range represents Metalfire’s vision of modern gas fireplaces: high efficiency combined with comfort and ease of use. The generous flame display delivers an immersive fire experience while maintaining excellent performance and control.
All Avenue gas fireplaces are CE certified and comply with EN 613 standards. Each unit is equipped with the latest technology to ensure optimal efficiency, reliability, and safety.

A quiet statement of comfort and control
This private residence in Knokke features the Metalfire Avenue high-efficiency closed gas fireplace. Designed for ease of use and everyday comfort, the Avenue combines advanced gas technology with a powerful, natural flame experience. CE certified and compliant with EN 613 standards, it delivers performance, efficiency, and safety without compromise.
Even when not in use, the fireplace remains a strong architectural element. Its clean lines and balanced proportions give the space structure and presence, making it a focal point beyond the flame.
Set within a new-built home on the Belgian coast, the fireplace is part of a calm, minimal interior shaped by natural light, open views, and tactile materials. Terra cotta floors, mineral plaster walls, onyx, stone, and wood echo the tones of sand and sea, creating warmth without excess. The result is a home that feels soft, grounded, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
