the Civil Society Forum at the Second World Summit for Social Development, on Wednesday, 5th and Thursday, 6th November 2025, at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha.

The Second World Summit for Social Development will kick off tomorrow, November 4, 2025, in Doha, the capital of Qatar, with the participation of heads of state and government, representatives of the United Nations, and civil society organizations.

Held under the auspices of the United Nations, the summit aims to renew commitment to the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and to discuss ways to promote social and economic justice while ensuring that no one is left behind in the path toward sustainable development.

At the invitation of the United Nations, the Brussels Organization for Human Rights is also participating in the Second World Summit for Social Development, alongside international and regional institutions working to advance the principles of equality, inclusion, and sustainable growth.

This year’s summit is being held under the theme “Putting People at the Heart of Development,” amid growing global economic, social, and environmental challenges.

🔹 The summit’s sessions will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre from November 4 to 6, preceded by preparatory events on November 3.
