My nephew found 2 heavy old pieces of wood and dropped them off earlier this week. Apparently they used to be a mantelpiece and made of solid white oak.

Perfect material for a furniture project so we're transforming it into a coffee table.

In the pictures you can see the change from solid worn beam to 4 beautiful tapered legs going from square to round.
