SENNES is a creative, socio-economic and sustainable brand conceived on a constant dialogue of Portuguese traditional textile processes and Belgian textile design. Designer and brand owner, Nele De Block, works and experiments with ‘noble’, natural high-quality materials in a very different way, taken out of their traditional context to a different contemporary design. All SENNES items are conceived and manufactured between ANTWERP (BE) and ALGARVE (PT).

Inspired by ‘the duffle bag’ Originally a rough woven cloth bag used by sailors to carry their belongings.
Did you know that the name “duffle” comes from the Belgian town of Duffel near Antwerp, where the cloth was originally made.
Our version is called ‘SAILOR’
