Progress is being made, but not fast enough.
Child labour fell from 160 million children in 2020 to 138 million in 2024, yet progress remains 11 times too slow. The world has officially missed UN Sustainable Development Goal Target 8.7, which mandated the total elimination of child labor by 2025.
Every number represents a child who deserves education, safety, and the chance to thrive.
