২৫ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয় করে রিয়াজ নতুন গাড়ি কিনেছে। একদম ঝকঝকে সিলভার কালারের গাড়ি। গাড়ি দেখে স্ত্রী, দুই সন্তান আর বাবা-মা তো ভীষণ খুশি। ঠিক দুই মাস আগে নতুন এপার্টমেন্টে উঠেছে। পরিশ্রমের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে রিয়াজের ভাগ্যটাও বেশ ভাল ফেভার করেছে। বছর বছর চাকুরীতে পদন্নোতি পাচ্ছে। বেতনও বেড়ে চলছে হু হু করে। তাই দ্রুত ব্যাংক লোন নিয়ে সেই টাকায় বাড়ি-গাড়ি সব কিনে ফেলল। সংসারে যেন আনন্দের বন্যা বইছে।

সেই সুবাদে রিয়াজ বাসায় একটা পার্টি দিল। অফিস কলিগরা দুপুর থেকে বিকেল আর আত্নীয়-স্বজনেরা সন্ধ্যা থেকে রাত পর্যন্ত আমন্ত্রিত ছিল। বেশ হৈ-হুল্লোর আর খাওয়া দাওয়ায় রিয়াজ পার্টি শেষ করলো। সবাই বেশ খুশি আর রিয়াজের প্রশংশায় পঞ্চমুখ।

সকাল হলেই রিয়াজ গাড়ি করে অফিস করবে,ছেলেমেয়েরা গাড়ি করে স্কুলে যাবে, স্ত্রী গাড়ি করে শপিং এ যাবে, গ্রামে বেড়াতে গেলেও গাড়ি করে যাবে ভাবতেই গর্বে রিয়াজের বুক ফুলে উঠতে লাগল। রিয়াজ ড্রাইভিংটাও শিখে নিয়েছে।
রিয়াজ পরিবারের ভবিষ্যতের জন্য খুব চিন্তা করত। অর্থ সম্পদ জমানো রিয়াজের যেন নেশা। স্ত্রীর নামে ২৫ লক্ষ টাকার সঞ্চয়পত্র কিনে দিয়েছে। ছেলেমেয়ের নামে মোটা অংকের ডি.পি.এস আর এফ.ডি.আর করে রেখেছে। পরিবার যেন থাকে দুধে-ভাতে।

চার মাস পরের কথা। গাড়ি এক্সিডেন্ট করে রিয়াজ মারা গেল। সে এক বিভীষিকাময় মৃত্যু। কাভার্ড ভ্যানের সাথে মুখোমুখি সংঘর্ষ, স্পট ডেড। ড্রাইভারটা প্রথম থেকেই রাফ চালাত। রিয়াজ যতদিন চালিয়েছে ধীরে সুস্হ্যেই চালিয়েছে। কোন সমস্যা হয় নাই। ড্রাইভারেরর বেসামাল গতি এদূর্ঘটনার বড় একটা কারন। কয়েকবার সতর্ক করার পরও পরিবর্তন হয়নি আর এখন তো সবই শেষ হয়ে গেল।

সারা বাড়িজুড়ে শোকের মাতম। স্ত্রী, সন্তান, মামা-বাবা, আত্নীয়স্বজন সবাই কান্নায় ভেঙ্গে পড়েছে। রিয়াজের মা এই বয়সে এমন শোক কিছুতেই মেনে নিতে পারছে না, বারবার মূর্ছা যাচ্ছেন। স্ত্রী যেন শোকে পাথর হয়ে গেছে। সন্তান দুটো হাউ মাউ করে কাঁদছে। এত সুখের সংসারটা ভেঙ্গে খান খান হয়ে গেল।

রিয়াজের লাশ গ্যারেজে শুইয়ে রাখা হয়েছে। সারা শরীর থেকে রক্ত ধুয়ে লাশের খাটে সাদা কাপড় দিয়ে ঢেকে রাখা হয়েছে। একটু পর পর সবাই এসে মুখটা শেষবারের মত দেখে আবার ঢেকে দিয়ে যাচ্ছে। একটু পর জানাযা পড়ানো হবে। মৃত রিয়াজ সবার আহাজারী,আফসোস দেখছে। ওর কেন যেন বিরক্ত লাগছে কিন্তু কিছুই বলতে পারছে না। হুজুর আসল, জানাযা পড়ানো হলো। কবর দেয়া হলো। কবর হতে হতে রাত প্রায় ১২ টা বেজে গেলো। সবাই ফিরে গেছে, এখন কবরস্হানে আর কেউ নেই।

দুইজন ফেরেশতা এসে মুখ গোমড়া করে রিয়াজকে কিছু প্রশ্ন করতে লাগল। তারপর রিয়াজকে নিয়ে আসমানের দিকে রওয়ানা হলো। অর্ধ-আসমানে পৌছানোর পর আওয়াজ আসল, থামো,এর আত্না আর এগোতে পারবে না। এর অনেক ঋণ আছে। ওর ঋণ এখনও শোধ হয় নাই। ঋণ শোধ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত ও গ্রহনযোগ্যতা পাবে না। ওকে যেখান থেকে নিয়ে এসেছো সেখানে নিয়ে যাও। রিয়াজকে আবার কবরে নিয়ে আসা হলো। কবরে রিয়াজের খুব কষ্ট হচ্ছিল। রিয়াজ চিৎকার করে স্ত্রীকে বলছে আমার ঋণগুলো তাড়াতাড়ি পরিশোধ করে দাও। তোমার নামে করা সঞ্চয়পত্রগুলো ভেঙ্গে ফেল,ছেলেমেয়েদের সমস্ত ডি.পি.এস আর এফ.ডি.আর ভেঙ্গে ফেল আমি আর এ যন্ত্রনা সহ্য করতে পারছি না। কিন্তু না, রিয়াজের চিৎকার কারও কাছে পৌছাল না।

এভাবে ৬ মাস চলে গেল। রিয়াজের ঋণগুলো কেউ শোধ করল না। নিদারুন কষ্টে রিয়াজ আফসোস করতে লাগল। বেঁচে থাকতে পরিবারের জন্য কত কষ্ট করে সম্পদ গড়েছি আর আজ আমার কোন মুল্য নাই। ৬ মাস হয়ে গেল এখনও আমার আত্না গ্রহনযোগ্যতা পেল না, আর কোনদিন পাবে কিনা তাও জানি না। রিয়াজ কাঁদতে লাগল।

আসরের আযানের শব্দে রিয়াজের ঘুম ভাঙ্গল। এতক্ষন রিয়াজ স্বপ্ন দেখছিল। ঘেমে একাকার হয়ে গেছে। রিয়াজ উঠে বসল। ঘুম থেকে উঠে আজ গাড়ি কিনতে যাওয়ার কথা। রিয়াজ ওয়াশরুমে গেল এবং ওয়াশরুম থেকে বের হয়ে গাড়ি কিনতে নয় মসজিদে চলে গেল। যাওয়ার পথে কেবল এটুকুই মনে হলো এ দুনিয়াতে কেউ কারো নয়।
প্রতিজ্ঞা করল, আর কোন ঋণ নয়।

তুমি চলে যাওয়ার পর আমি অনেক কষ্ট করেছি তোমার মায়া থেকে বেরিয়ে আসতে । কিন্তু আমি পারিনি,প্রতিবার আমি ব্যর্থ হয়েছি তোমার মায়ার কাছে।মনকে অনেক বুঝাতে চেয়েছি যে ছেড়ে গেছে তাকে ভেবে কেনো দিনগুলো নষ্ট করছি? কিন্তু আমি ব্যর্থ হয়েছি মনের কাছে আমি কিছুতেই তাকে বুঝাতে পারি না তুমি আমার হবে না! তুমি আর আমার নও তুমি এখন অন্য কারো..!মনের সাথে চোখের সম্পর্কটাও যেনো খুব গভীর তাইতো তোমার কথা মনে হলে তোমাকে ভেবে সে কাঁদতে থাকে। কিছুতেই তাকে থামানো যায় না ?নিজের ঠোঁট চেপে চোখ দুটোর দৃষ্টি সম্পর্কে মিলে দিয়ে চোখের আয়তন বড় করার চেষ্টা করে ও আমি ব্যর্থ হয়েছি।তবুও চোখের জল আটকাতে পারিনি তোমার নামেই ঝরে পড়ছে ..!!💔
