Have you ever thought about this? The people you are wasting so much of your precious time on—are they really your loved ones?

The reality is, not all of them are. When you truly fall into trouble, you will hardly find anyone by your side except one or two.

If you don’t believe this, you can test it right now. Call the people you consider friends, loved ones, or close to your heart, and tell them you’re in serious trouble and urgently need money. Ask to borrow whatever amount they can afford. You’ll see that only about 1% will actually respond to your call. The rest, despite being capable, will come up with excuses. And that’s the reality of life.

So why waste your valuable time on them? Learn to value time before it’s too late, otherwise, you’ll regret it later. Love people as much as is necessary as a human being, but not more than that.
