জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে বুয়েটে

আজ থাকছে বুয়েটে "গনিত" বিষয়ে
MSc. MPhill, PhD করার সার্বিক প্রস্তুতিঃ

প্রথমে বলি কি যোগ্যতা থাকলে আপনি " গনিত" বিষয়ে বুয়েটে MSc. Mphill & PhD করতে পারবেনঃ

★★MSc. করার যোগ্যতাঃ-

For admission to the courses leading to a Master’s degree
(M. Sc.) an applicant:
a) must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 out of 5.00 or a first division or equivalent in any one of S.S.C.
and H.S.C. or in equivalent examinations and must not have a GPA less than 2.00 out of 5.00 or a
third division or equivalent in any of the aforementioned examinations.
b) must have at least 50% marks or a minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent in four years
B.A./ B.S./ B. Sc. (Hons.)/ B. Sc. Engg./ B. Tech./ M.A. or M. Sc. or MSS/ B. Arch./ BURP in the
relevant branch.
c) For admission to the courses leading to the degree of M. Sc (Mathematics), an applicant must have a
four-year Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics having a minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or at least
50% marks or its equivalent from any recognized university.

Mphill করার যোগ্যতাঃ-

Admission Requirements for Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) Degree:
For admission to the courses leading to a M. Phil. degree an applicant:
a) must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 out of 5.00 or a first division or equivalent in any one of S.S.C.
and H.S.C. or in equivalent examinations and must not have a GPA less than 2.00 out of 5.00 or a
third division or equivalent in any of the aforementioned examinations.

b) must have at least 50% marks or a minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent in B. Sc.
Engg./ four-year B.A. or B. Sc. degree/ M.A. or M. Sc. or MSS degree in the relevant branch.

c) For admission to the course leading to the award of M. Phil. degree in Mathematics, an applicant
must have obtained a four-year B.A/ B. Sc. degree or M.A./ M. Sc. degree with honours in
Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. Applicants with M.Sc. degree in Physics or B. Sc. Engineering
degree are also eligible provided they complete some prerequisite courses in Mathematics as
determined by a Selection Committee. An applicant with M.A./ M. Sc. but not having a Bachelor
(honours) degree in mathematics, applied mathematics or physics should have a first class (or
equivalent) in the M.A./ M. Sc. degree.

PhD করার যোগ্যতাঃ-

B. Admission Requirements for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) Degree:
For admission to the postgraduate program leading to a Ph. D. degree an applicant:
a) must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 out of 5.00 or a First Division or equivalent in any one of S.S.C.
and H.S.C. or in equivalent examinations and must not have a GPA less than 2.00 out of 5.00 or a
third division or equivalent in any of the aforementioned examinations.
b) must have at least 50% marks or a minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent in B.Sc.
Engg./ four-year B.A. or B.Sc. or B.S. degree/ M.A. or M. Sc. or M. S. or MSS degree/ B. Arch./
BURP in the relevant branch.
c) must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 or its equivalent in M.Sc. Engg./ M. Engg./ M. Phil./
MURP/ M. Arch./ M. Sc. (WRD)/ MBA/ M. Sc. (Thesis)/ M.S. (Thesis) degree in the relevant
branch.
d)For Mathematics, the minimum qualification for admission shall normally be a four-year
Bachelor's degree plus three-semester M. Sc./ M.S. degree with thesis/ four-year Bachelor's
degree plus two semester M. Sc./ M.S. degree with thesis/ M. Phil. degree in Mathematics/
Applied Mathematics or its equivalent from any recognized Institution.
OR
M. Sc. Engg. degree provided he/ she completes some prerequisite courses in Mathematics as
determined by the Admission Committee.

ভর্তি পদ্ধতিঃ-
১.লিখিত পরীক্ষা ৫০ বা ১০০ নম্বরের পরীক্ষা হয়ে থাকে।
২.মৌখিক পরীক্ষা

লিখিত পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের চূড়ান্ত বাছাই করার জন্য নম্বর বণ্টন নিম্নরূপ:

(ক)M.Sc. M.Phil. প্রোগ্রামে ভর্তি ইচ্ছুক গণিত ছাত্র/ছাত্রীদের H.S.C B.Sc (Hons.) এবং ইনজিনিয়ারিং ছাত্র/ছাত্রীদের জন্য H.S.C এবং B.Sc. (Eng) পরীক্ষার Result এর উপর ৫ নম্বরসহ সর্বমোট ১৫০ নম্বরের উপর মেধাক্রম অনুসারে প্রার্থী বাছাই করা হবে।

(খ) Ph.D. প্রোগ্রামে ভর্তি ইচ্ছুক গণিত ছাত্র/ছাত্রীদের B.Sc (Hons.) ও M.Sc. পরীক্ষা এবং ইনজিনিয়ারিং ছাত্র/ছাত্রীদের জন্য B.Sc. (Eng) এবং M.Sc পরীক্ষার Result এর উপর ৫০% নম্বরসহ সর্বমোট ১৫০ নম্বরের উপর মেধাক্রম অনুসারে প্রার্থী বাছাই করা হবে।

চূড়ান্তভাবে উত্তীর্ণ Ph.D. প্রোগ্রামে ভর্তি ইচ্ছুক ছাত্র/ছাত্রীদের ইতিপূর্বের গবেষণা এবং পরবর্তী গবেষণা পরিকল্পনার উপর প্রদত্ত Lecture-এর মাধ্যমে প্রার্থী বাছাই করা হবে।

সাজেশন ও লিখিত পরীক্ষার সিলেবাসঃ-
