Honored to hear inspiring insights from our Managing Director, Rozalin Islam Madam at the Bangladesh China Green Textile Expo 2025.

Focus on Man-Made Fibers (MMF) is a key step towards and Bangladesh’s RMG sector., as she said.

She added, with Jamuna Group’s investment in textiles and commitment to , we are the way for a more sustainable and future in textiles, she is excited to be part of this towards , , and .

Quoted Madam’s speech:

It is a great honor for me to speak at this important seminar on "The Rise of MMF in Bangladesh: Diversifications for a Resilient RMG Sector."

I would like to thank the CEAB(Chinese Enterprise Association in Bangladesh) and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China for inviting me to be a part of this event.

Bangladesh’s Ready-Made Garments industry has been a strong pillar of our economy for many years. Today, as the world changes rapidly, we must adapt and innovate to stay competitive & resilient. One of the key ways to do this is, through the growth of Man-Made Fibers, or MMF.

MMF offers many benefits. It will allow us to diversify our products, meet global market demands, and reduce our dependence on traditional fibers. This diversification will make our RMG sector more resilient, especially in times of economic uncertainty.

In this connection, I would like to share that, we as Jamuna Group already took decision to invest USD $100 Million on Synthetic Fabrics production, Unit Named as ‘’Jamuna Poly Silk Ltd’’ , where initially monthly capacity will be 4.50 Million Meter by December’25; And within 2023 the capacity will reach up to 23 Million Meters Per Month.

Moreover, the focus on green innovation and technology in textiles, is very important. Sustainable practices and eco-friendly materials are no longer optional; they are essential for the future of our industry and the health of our planet.

Bangladesh is committed to adopt green technologies to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable growth.

Together, by embracing MMF and green innovation, we can build a stronger & more sustainable RMG sector that will benefit our workerforces, businesses, and the environment alike.

Thank you once again for this opportunity. I look forward to learn from all of you and working together for a brighter future of Bangladesh.

Unquoted:

Hope more will come through Jamuna’s management for Bangladesh Textiles & Apparel.
