Rajshahi Cantonment Public Math and Science Club - RCPMSC

Today, 5th June, is celebrated as World Environment Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about environmental protection and inspiring people to take positive actions for the well-being of our planet.

The Rajshahi Cantonment Public Math and Science Club (RCPMSC) proudly observes this day and highlights the importance of environmental conservation.

World Environment Day was established by the United Nations in 1972 during the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment. Since 1973, it has been celebrated annually on 5th June to encourage global awareness and action for environmental sustainability. Trees, forests, rivers, and wildlife play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance. However, pollution, deforestation, and climate change continue to threaten our environment. By planting trees, reducing waste, and adopting eco-friendly practices, we can contribute to a greener and healthier world.

Today marks the birthday of Ariq Abid Shobdo, former Joint Secretary (College Wing) of RCPMSC. His dedication, leadership, and contributions have left a lasting impact on our club and continue to inspire many of us.

Ariq Abid Shobdo was a hardworking and good leader. It was important to RCPMSC that he handled things and mentored others. Shobdo put in a lot of effort to develop and push the club forward. He was very encouraging and active and motivated others to keep working hard. Even now, Shobdo continues to have a significant impact on our club.
