Recently, I was contacted by a so-called "client" from the USA who insisted on paying me via check through a relative in the USA. They promised that the check would clear in 24 hours and then I could receive my money.

🚫 THIS IS A SCAM! 🚫
Scammers use fake or stolen checks that bounce after a few days, leaving you or your relative in financial trouble. They may even ask for a refund of "extra money," which is how they steal your funds.

✅ Avoid accepting checks from unknown clients.
✅ Use secure payment methods like bank transfer, Payoneer, or Wise instead.
✅ Warn your relatives not to cash or deposit suspicious checks.
