Job Context:
CPSD is looking for a competent, self-motivated, and energetic candidate for the position of Senior Embedded Systems Engineer & Embedded Systems Engineer who will be responsible for designing new IoT devices and maintaining existing designs. Primary responsibilities will include microcontroller-based digital circuit designing, firmware development, prototyping, testing and debugging, design for manufacturing, improving existing designs, and documentation. Familiarity with backend software development would be a plus point. Experience in software development in C for embedded systems is necessary.

Job Responsibilities:
• Experience with STM32, ESP32, Arduino and Raspberry Pi in low memory environments.
• Solid knowledge of C/C++ and Python development.
• Must have a clear understanding of network and socket programming and Restful web service development.
• Must have worked with different networking protocols including HTTP, TCP/IP, MQTT etc.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with different IoT based MCU boards platforms are necessary.
• Having hands-on experience with any microcontroller series and development boards like AVR, PIC, ARM.
• In depth understanding of different communication protocols including I2C, SPI, Serial communication, RS232 is encouraged.
• Create detailed project specifications and designs, including schematic, component selection, prototyping, testing, sourcing and documentation.
• Writing documentation, design requirements specification, failure analysis, verification and validation test protocols, etc.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and data-oriented with a passion for problem-solving.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE/CS/EEE/ECE.

Additional skills and abilities to perform the job include: strong analytical skills; strong oral and written communication skills in English; detail oriented; strong computer literacy skills; exercises Firm understanding and experience in digital electronics’ firmware designing for commercial/industrial deployment.
Familiarity with MCU based circuits, RS-232, I2C, SPI, A/D, D/A.
PCB designing experience with Proteus, Eagle and Altium(optional).
Familiarity with digital or analog sensors, including accelerometers, magnetometers, temperature sensors, gas/flame sensors, DHT sensors, etc.
Experience with the following wireless standards: Bluetooth/LE, NFC, ZigBee/802.15.4, WLAN (802.11b/g/n/ac)
Knowledge of version control systems GIT-hub, Bitbucket
Experience designing low power/battery-powered devices is desirable
Mature judgment, strong team player, ability to follow instructions, ability to work under pressure; ability to work independently; ability to influence other people; ability to act as a mentor; project management experiences.
