The UIU Mars Rover Team (UMRT) has achieved a historic milestone at the University Rover Challenge (URC) 2026, bringing global recognition to Bangladesh and UIU by securing the following:

🏆 3rd Place Worldwide
🌏 1st Place in Asia
🤖 Best Autonomous System Recognition

Now, our champions are coming home, and the entire UIU family will be there to welcome them back with pride, energy, and applause!

For the first time in last 20 years of URC history, an Asian team has secured a podium finish (Top 3), marking a historic achievement for the region.

Working under the same roof at CAIR Lab alongside the UIU Rescue Rover Team, we , the URRT Family proudly celebrate Team UMRT for this extraordinary milestone and for putting Bangladesh and Asia on the global rover map.
