Awareness Raising:
It is the most common activity that many people and organizations perform. We also have chosen this as without awareness raising our plan will not be sustainable. We can try to aware teenagers by showing animated videos, pictures, poster & powerpoint presentations and simulations. Good Environmental Practices:
Use bin, remain clean: Students will be inspired to use bin instead of throwing waste into environment. Thus it will be helpful for making their campus, house and public spaces clean. Save Water: Students should be taught to turn off the tap when soaping or brushing. In the same way, they must be taught to save water while using sinks and in the garden. Try to Carpool, Walk or take Public Transport: We want to teach teenagers to avoid going to school individually in their cars. The more the number of cars running, the more there will be carbon emissions and smog in the air leading to pollution. Arrange for a group of students living close by to go to school together in one car only. Switch off Lights when not in use: We will try to make them understand to switch off lights, fans and other electronic devices when not in use. Try to Save Paper: We will ask them to try to save paper and to avoid using paper cups and plates whenever possible and to use cloth towels and rags instead of paper towels and napkins. Consume more vegetables. : Consuming more vegetables reduce the pressure on meat. It is scientifically proved that producing more meats creates more loss to energy while vegetable production is both energy and cost effective
Plant more trees: Planting trees is really a good habit which is very much needed for a city like Dhaka. In Dhaka, we have less trees which requires for a city. There will be a lesson for students to build up the habit of planting trees and others.
3R( Recycle, Reuse & Reduce):

We will teach them how to recycle and reuse wastes & also show it’s benefits. Building Environmental Club:
It is another activity that can make our initiatives more sustainable. After performing all other activities, it will be our last work to build an environment club which will be regulated by teenager students of those institutes to make their campus green and waste free and to perform environment friendly daily activities. Financial side of environment friendly activities:
When performing these activities, we also should discuss about the financial benefit of this. It can help us to increase their zest about our activities. How recycling, using public transports, reusing, vegetable consumption, saving energy can make them financialiy benefited will be discussed in this part. Implementation & outcome:
This project will be implemented by the members of ‘Youth Environment & Climate Change Association-YECCA’. We will go to the schools and colleges of Dhaka city and perform these described activities to discover every teen as an environment friendly citizen. And thus will able to make every ‘TEEN FOR GREEN’.
