দরূদ পড়া সাওয়াব ও ইসলামি শরিয়তের একটি মর্যাদাপূর্ণ ইবাদত

দরূদ হলো মুহাম্মাদুর রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম ও তাঁর পরিবার-পরিজনের প্রতি সালাত তথা দোয়া। আল্লাহর কাছে পরিবারসহ তাঁর জন্য শুভকামনা, দয়া-করুণা ও প্রার্থনা করা। তাঁর প্রতি দরূদ পড়া অনেক সম্মান ও মর্যাদার ইবাদত। আরবিতে সংক্ষেপে ছোট্ট বাক্যে- صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّد (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলা মুহাম্মাদ) কিংবা صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلَّم (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম)ই হলো- দরূদ। তবে কীভাবে বা কোন নিয়মে দরূদ পড়তে হবে তা বলেছেন স্বয়ং বিশ্বনবি।
