"নববর্ষ ১৪৩৩: ইতিহাসের আলোয়, প্রত্যয়ের প্রহরে"

পহেলা বৈশাখ মানে শুধু নতুন দিন নয়—এ এক বিদ্রোহের জয়গান, আত্মপরিচয়ের মিছিল। বৈশাখ এলেই স্মরণে আসে মুঘল দরবারে কৃষকের কান্না, আসে ব্রিটিশ বিরোধী চেতনায় লালিত ফসলের গান। আবার মনে পড়ে সেই সময়, যখন পাকিস্তানি শাসকের চোখ রাঙানি পেরিয়ে বাঙালি নিজের সংস্কৃতি নিয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে বলে, “এই মাটিই আমার, এই গানই আমার”।

নতুন বাংলা বর্ষ ১৪৩৩-তে দাঁড়িয়ে ভাবি—এই দেশ, এই সময়, এই সংগ্রাম—সবই চলছে, বদলে বদলে ঠিক আগের মতোই। পয়লা বৈশাখে যে মঙ্গল শোভাযাত্রা হয়, তার ভেতরে লুকিয়ে থাকে হাজার বছরের সংস্কৃতির হুঙ্কার, গণজাগরণের ছায়া।

কিন্তু আজ যখন বৈশাখ আসে, তখন তার কোলেও থাকে প্রশ্ন—
কে দখল করেছে আমাদের মাটির গল্প?
কারা নিয়ন্ত্রণ করছে আমাদের ভাষার বিস্তার?
আমরা কি এখনো সেই বাঙালি, যে নিজের পরিচয় রক্ষায় বুক চিতিয়ে দাঁড়ায়?

নতুন বছরে তাই প্রত্যয় হোক এই—
“আমরা ফিরব মূলের কাছে, আমরা ফিরব মনুষ্যত্বে, আমরা গড়ব এমন এক বাংলাদেশ, যেখানে বৈশাখ শুধু উৎসব নয়—একটি প্রতিবাদ, একটি প্রেরণা।”

শুভ নববর্ষ ১৪৩৩।

ভাষা, সংস্কৃতি আর অধিকার হোক আমাদের অগ্নিস্নানে পবিত্র হওয়া পথচলা।

**“Bengali New Year 1433: In the Light of History, in the Hour of Resolve”**

Pohela Boishakh is not merely the arrival of a new day—it is a celebration of defiance, a procession of identity. With Boishakh comes the memory of weeping farmers in the Mughal courts, the songs of harvest steeped in anti-colonial fervor. And once again, we recall that time when, defying the threats of the Pakistani regime, Bengalis stood tall and declared, *"This land is mine, this song is mine."*

As we step into Bengali Year 1433, I reflect—this country, this era, this struggle—they continue, evolving, yet echoing the past. The Mongol Shobhajatra that marches on New Year’s Day carries within it the roar of millennia, the shadow of mass awakenings.

But today, as Boishakh arrives, it brings with it questions too—
Who has claimed our story of the soil?
Who controls the spread of our language?
Are we still the people who once stood fearless to defend our identity?

Let this New Year be a pledge—
*"We shall return to our roots, to our humanity; we shall build a Bangladesh where Boishakh is not just celebration—but resistance, and inspiration."*
