The original Jetta from Fast and Furious actually had brake calipers on both the front and rear. Interestingly, the car had a life before its big-screen debut—it was featured in Super Street magazine in 1999, where it caught the eye of the film’s producers. They decided to include it in the movie with a few minor cosmetic tweaks. After filming wrapped, the Jetta found a new owner: none other than Frankie Muniz (yes, Malcolm from Malcolm in the Middle!), who bought it for $100,000 at just 16 years old.
