From classrooms to real-world impact - coming back to AIUB as a speaker was both nostalgic and inspiring for our Co-founder & CEO, Engr. Mashrur H. Shurid.

At the seminar titled “From EEE Classroom to Real-World Impact: Building Beyond the Degree”, organized by AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES) at AIUB, he shared an important perspective:

“When academic research cannot go beyond the academic boundary, it doesn't serve the purpose of the nation. The industry must come forward to support academic research and innovations to go to the deployment field…”

The session highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry, encouraging future engineers to think beyond academic boundaries and focus on solving real national challenges through innovation, research, and practical application.

As an AIUB alumnus, Mashrur reflected on his journey from being a student to building Aunkur, sharing insights on developing practical skills, embracing innovation, and staying adaptable in today’s evolving engineering landscape.
