Some interesting technical aspects of DropCue (For those who are interested)

1) Created on Asp.net Web API and SQL Server Relational database.
2) A true SPA (Single Page Application), a single conventional form POST takes place only when you log in.
3) The database has only 7 tables!
4) No JOIN operation takes place in any operation, with negligible de-normalization in tabular design.
5) Front-end built with Backbone.js performing as the glue, that communicates with light weight RESTful service at back-end.
6) SignalR used for implementing LIVE notifications (Http Push) from server.
7) Built our own expression engines in js from scratch for processing date-time expressions that you express with the "@" sign.
8) No data caching used at server side, yet, data structure and system designed in an approach that delivers lightning performance to the end user.
