🇧🇩 Standing Strong Together: Support for Our Eastern Region

As floods devastate the eastern region of Bangladesh, we are reminded of the immense challenges our communities face. At Appnap, our commitment to humanitarian efforts runs deep, often quietly undertaken out of a sincere desire to help those in need. However, today we feel compelled to share an inspiring story from within our team.

Recently, a colleague from the Appnap family took the initiative to propose a heartfelt idea on our internal Slack channel, volunteering to donate one day’s salary to support those affected by the floods. Inspired by this selfless act and leadership, the entire Appnap team has come together, with each member pledging one day’s salary to the cause.

To further amplify the impact, Appnap has decided to match the collective donation. This effectively doubles each employee’s contribution, resulting in a total donation that is equivalent to two days of salary per person. This combined effort ensures even greater support for the relief efforts in our flood-affected regions.

The contributions are being directed to the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society(BDRCS) and the As sunnah Foundation, organizations that are tirelessly working on the ground to provide critical assistance to those in need.

This united gesture, sparked by one colleague’s initiative, embodies the spirit of Bangladesh 2.0—a generation ready to lead with compassion and solidarity.
