সিডরের মতো গতিবেগ নিয়ে ধেয়ে আসছে ‘মোখা’
২০০৭ সালের ১৫ নভেম্বর বাংলাদেশে আঘাত হানে ভয়াবহ ঘূর্ণিঝড় সিডর। এতে উপকূলের জেলাগুলোর ব্যাপক ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয়। এবার সিডরের মতো সমতুল্য গতিবেগ নিয়ে উপকূলের দিকে ধেয়ে আসছে ঘূর্ণিঝড় মোখা। দেশে কখনো কখনো ঘূর্ণিঝড় আঘাত হানে। এতে ব্যাপক প্রাণহানী ঘটে। তবে এ সময়ে হাত গুটিয়ে বসে থাকলে বিপদ আরও বাড়ে। এ ধরনের পরিস্থিতিতে মাথা ঠান্ডা রেখে কাজ করলে বড় ধরনের দুর্ঘটনা এড়ানো যায়।
তাই জেনে নিন ঝড়ের সময় কী করা উচিত-.
১. প্রথমেই মাথা ঠান্ডা রেখে বিপদের মোকাবেলা করতে হবে।
২. বাড়ির আশেপাশে বড় গাছের শুকিয়ে যাওয়া ডাল থাকলে কেটে ফেলুন।
৩. ঝড়ে উড়ে যেতে পারে এমন বস্তু খোলা জায়গা থেকে সরিয়ে ফেলুন।
৪. ঘর মেরামত প্রয়োজন হলে আগেই সেটা করিয়ে নিন।
৫. হাতের সামনে কাঠের বোর্ড রাখুন, কাঠ বিদ্যুৎ অপরিবাহী।
৬. লণ্ঠন, হ্যারিকেন এবং টর্চ হাতের কাছে রাখুন।
৭. বাড়িতে শুকনো খাবার ও পানীয় মজুদ করে রাখুন।
৮. প্রয়োজনীয় ওষুধ মজুদ করে রাখুন।
৯. ঝড়ের সময় যাতায়াত থেকে বিরত থাকুন।
১০. ঝড়ের সময় বাড়ির এমন এক জায়গা বেছে নিন, যেখানে নিরাপদ থাকবেন।
১১. কাঁচের জানালায় বোর্ড জাতীয় কিছু ঝুলিয়ে দিন, না হলে ক্ষতি হতে পারে।
১২. বাড়ির ইলেকট্রিকের তার ঠিক আছে কি-না দেখে নিন।১৩. পরিস্থিতির ওপর নজর রাখুন, কোন গুজবে কান দেবেন না।
১৪. সাইক্লোন অ্যালার্ট জারি হলে অন্তত ২৪ ঘণ্টা আগে থেকে সতর্ক থাকুন।
১৫. পুরনো দালান বা দেয়াল সর্বদাই এড়িয়ে চলুন।
১৬. ঝড়ের সময় গাড়ি চালাতে হলে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করুন।
১৭. বাড়ির জানালা-দরজা ভালোভাবে লাগিয়ে রাখুন।
১৮. বাড়ির ইলেক্ট্রিক সংযোগ বন্ধ করে দিন, প্রয়োজনে মেইন সুইচ বন্ধ রাখুন।
১৯. এ সময়ে মোবাইল ফোন চার্জ দিবেন না।
২০. ঘরের বাইরে বের হবেন না।
২১. বাচ্চাদের প্রতি নজর রাখুন।
২২. ঘরে পর্যাপ্ত শুকনো খাবার, জল, ওষুধ রাখবেন।
২৩. অত্যন্ত প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র ওয়াটারপ্রুফ ফাইলে রাখুন।
২৪. মোমবাতি বা ব্যাটারি চালিত কোন আলো হাতের কাছে রাখুন।
