Market Update-05/12/2022

The second working day of the week on Monday (December 5) was also traded in the stock market of the country with the index falling. The main index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell by 12 points on this day under the pressure of selling shares. Another capital market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) index fell by 74 points.

Share prices of most companies fell along with the index. However, the volume of transactions has increased. As a result, the index fell on the first two working days of the week.
According to DSE data, 5 crore 32 lakh 22 thousand 505 shares of 99 companies were bought and sold in the market on Monday. The amount of which is 344 crore 86 lakh 27 thousand taka. 313 crore 56 lakh 2 thousand taka was traded on the previous day.

Among the institutions traded today, 23 rose in price, while 55 fell in price. Shares and unit prices of 221 companies remained unchanged. DSE's main index DSEX fell 12 points to 6,212 points from the previous day.

Shares of Bashundhara Paper Mills topped the trade on DSE. Shares of Genex Infosys were in second place. At the third place was the share of Amra Networks. Next were the shares of Orion Pharma, Orion Infusion, Navana Pharma, LafargeHolcim, Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, Advent Pharma and Agrani Systems Limited respectively.

Market Update: 24-11-22

The fifth and last working day of the week Thursday (November 24) was traded in the country's stock market with indices up and down throughout the day. On this day, the index and the share price of most of the companies increased. However, transactions have decreased at an alarming rate.

The main index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, increased by 7 points. Another capital market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) index fell by 93 points.
According to DSE data, only 5 crore 44 lakh 16 thousand 516 shares of 300 companies were bought and sold in the market on Thursday. The amount of which is 323 crore 80 lakh 28 thousand taka. 540 crore 68 lakh 19 thousand taka was traded on the previous day. Transactions fell by half from the previous day.

Among the companies traded today, 46 rose and 28 fell. Shares and unit prices of 226 companies remained unchanged. DSE's main index DSEX increased by 7 points from the previous day to 6215 points.

Any type of investment is risky at this point so it is very necessary to make conscious and thoughtful decision for long term investment.

Stock Market Update : 14th November

The second working day of the week Monday (November 14) saw a big fall in the stock market compared to the first day. The main index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, fell by 51 points due to the fear of losing capital and the pressure of investors to sell shares. Another capital market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) index fell by 102 points.

Trading and share prices of most companies fell along with the index. As a result, prices fell on the first and second working days of the new week after the index rose on Thursday.
According to DSE data, 9 crore 5 lakh 69 thousand 8 shares of 342 companies were traded in the market on Monday. In this, the total transaction in taka was 714 crore 28 lakh 61 thousand taka. 724 crore 15 lakh 64 thousand taka was traded on the previous day. The transaction has decreased by Tk 10 crore compared to the previous day.

Among the companies traded today, 18 increased, 64 decreased, and 256 were unchanged. DSE's main index DSEX fell by 51.34 points to 6 thousand 253 points from the previous day.

Among the other two indices, the DSES Shariah index decreased by 11 points from the previous day to 61 thousand 358 points and the DS-30 index decreased by 14.91 points to 2 thousand 198 points from the previous day.
Shares of Genex Infosys topped the trade on DSE. In second place were shares of Orion Pharmaceuticals. Beximco shares were in third place. Next in position were shares of Royal Sea Pearl Tulip, Bashundhara Paper, Navana Pharma, Amara Technology, Summit Alliance, Bangladesh Shipping Corporation and Gemini Sea Food Limited.

CASPI, the main index of other market CSE, decreased by 102 points to 18 thousand 534 points from the previous day. On this day, 11 crore 6 lakh 10 thousand 402 taka were traded in CSE. 14 crore 71 lakh 92 thousand taka was traded the previous day.

Among the 175 companies traded on the day, the price of 20 increased, 49 decreased, and 106 companies' share prices remained unchanged.
