In line with PURBANI’s commitment to developing the country’s future workforce, we recently welcomed Faculty Members and Students from BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology to our spinning mill for their industrial attachment.

The visit provided valuable hands-on learning opportunities, offering practical exposure to our production processes and advanced machinery. It also facilitated constructive discussions on the evolving needs of the textile industry, effectively bridging academic learning with real world application.

We remain committed to nurturing industry ready talent through meaningful industry–academia collaboration.

Recently, members of PURBANI came together to celebrate the annual picnic, “Anando Mela 2026”. Peoples from various manufacturing units enjoyed a well-deserved day off, spending quality time together outside the workplace in an atmosphere filled with togetherness.

The day featured a variety of activities, including sports events, cultural performances showcasing workers talents, and shared meals, creating moments of laughter and connection.

Every year, Purbani organizes this special gathering to promote team spirit, and a sense of family among its people and Anando Mela 2026 was a joyful reflection of that tradition.

Shafiqul Sarker, Managing Director of Purbani Group, has been elected Vice President of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) for a two-year term spanning 2025–27.

He previously served as a director of the association, a position he has held since 2024.
