UKVI strongly recommend that students apply for their visa as early as possible as decisions are taking 5 weeks to process. We receive high levels of applications in August so you should start to prepare and submit your application from now.
If you are waiting for your CAS reference number, you can prepare your supporting documents in the meantime.
You will need:
✅Current passport/travel documentation
✅Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) reference number.
Depending on your personal circumstances and where you are applying from, you may also need:
✅Proof of English language proficiency. This could be an IELTS test (other tests are accepted too)
✅Proof that you can pay for your course fees and maintenance for one academic year. The amount will depend on your personal circumstances.
✅Consent from a parent or guardian if under 18
✅Copies of your education certificates
✅️TB test certificate (country dependent https://www.gov.uk/.../countries-where-you-need-a-tb-test...)
✅ATAS certificate (course dependent) https://www.gov.uk/.../academic-technology-approval...

Entry Requirement:
 IELTS
Undergraduate
 HSC GPA 5.0 out of 5.0 including 4.0 in English and Maths
 Overall 6.0 with no band less than 5.5
Postgraduate
 Overall 60% or CGPA-3.0 out of 4.0
 Overall 6.5, with no band less than 6.0
 ( But some courses will also accept 6.0/5.5) depending on the subject.
If a student doesn't meet the IELTS requirement:
 DMU has its own Internal English Test facilities for the students "DATE TEST" who don't meet the IELTS requirements. The test cost is totally free.
 OIETC is being accepted as language proficiency for September 2022 intake.
